Connect a client's Shopify store, then pick which store to work on. The Review, Audit and Chat
pages always work on the active store. Each store keeps its own CSVs and backups.
Your stores
Visitors of the public demo always see the main store, never a client's data.
Connect a new client store
About 5 minutes. Shopify needs one small app per client store, made in your Dev Dashboard.
Ask the client for their store's .myshopify.com address
(in their Shopify admin: Settings → Domains).
Turn off "Embed app in Shopify admin", then click Release.
Go to Distribution → Custom distribution → enter the client's .myshopify.com address.
(Shopify locks this app to that one store.)
From the app's Settings, copy the Client ID and Client secret into the form below and click Add store.
Click Connect next to the store and approve. Or send the client the install link
from the Distribution page, and they approve it themselves.
⚠ This website runs on your own computer (127.0.0.1), so the last step only works when
you click Connect on this computer. You need access to the client's store for that
(they can add you as a staff member or collaborator). Once the site is online, set
PUBLIC_URL in the settings, and clients can approve from anywhere.
